Gibson ES-140 3/4 T de 1956, en bel état.

Apparue tout d’abord sous forme non-thinline en 1950, la ES-140 3/4 T est introduite au catalogue Gibson en 1957. Étonnamment, le FON (Factory Order Number) présent sur la guitare ainsi que les codes des potentiomètres corroborent un instrument produit à l’automne de 1956 – il s’agirait donc d’un des premiers exemplaires thinline du modèle jamais produits ! Table, fond et éclisses en érable, manche en acajou, belle touche en palissandre. Chevalet et mécaniques remplacés, le reste des éléments principaux, y compris le pickguard, le micro P-90 et l’électronique sont originaux.

Préparée et réglée par nos soins, en parfait état de jeu. Vendue dans une housse moderne.

1956 Gibson ES-140 3/4 T, in good condition.

After a first appearance in non-thinline form in 1950, the ES-140 3/4 T was introduced in the Gibson catalog in 1957. Surprisingly, the FON (Factory Order Number) present on this guitar as well as the potentiometer codes corroborate an instrument assembled in the fall of 1956 – this would therefore make it one of the first thinline examples of the model ever produced! Maple top, back and sides, mahogany neck, beautiful rosewood fingerboard. Replacement bridge and tuners, the rest of the main parts, including the pickguard, the P-90 pickup and the electronics are original.

Complete professional setup done in our workshop, in perfect playing condition. Sold in a modern gig bag.
