GIBSON ES-335TDC 1966

Une superbe Gibson ES-335TDC de 1966, en excellent état d’origine.

Modèle iconique de semi-hollowbody depuis son introduction en 1958, nous avons ici un instrument issu de ce qu’on pourrait appeler la troisième génération de 335, à savoir que les incrustations « dot » sur la touche et le chevalet « hardtail » de la première époque ont laissé leur place à des incrustations « block » et un cordier trapézoïdal. Côté extérieur, cette guitare donne à voir une magnifique finition Cherry qui n’a pas nullement perdu de sa splendeur et de son brillant, avec une belle fourniture en érable visible sous le vernis. Sous le capot, on retrouve les deux micros humbuckers portant l’étiquette « Patent No. », dont le son n’a absolument rien à envier aux PAFs tant il est décoiffant. Vérifié, préparé et réglé par nos soins, prêt au jeu.

A beautiful Gibson ES-335TDC from 1966, in excellent original condition.

An all time semi-hollowbody icon ever since its introduction in 1958, what we have here is an instrument from the 3rd generation of 335: the « dot » inlays have been replaced with block markers, and the hardtail bridge has made way for the trapeze tailpiece. On the outside, the Cherry finish on this guitar is absolutely stunning, still shining bright and barely faded at all, while revealing a beautiful choice of maple under the varnish. Under the hood, the guitar sports two « Patent No. » humbuckers, which do more than hold their own against their PAF predecessors and will blow the roof off anywhere they are used. Complete professional setup done at our workshop, ready to play.
