Gibson J-45 Adjustable Bridge de 1965, en très bon état.

Très bel exemplaire d’un des plus légendaires modèles de guitare flat-top, cette guitare présente une belle finition Cherry Sunburst. La particularité de cette couleur sur les J-45 de la période 1964-1966 est que du fait de l’instabilité de la composante rouge du sunburst, celle-ci avait tendance à s’estomper, donnant un aspect dit « faded » à la finition. Par ailleurs, la guitare présente un joli faïençage sur le vernis de table. Très bel équilibre sonore, grande projection, action des cordes confortable, en somme un véritable plaisir pour les oreilles et les yeux !

Préparée et réglée par nos soins, prête au jeu. Ancienne réparation sur la tête. Dans son étui d’origine.

Here is a great example of one of the most legendary flat-top models produced by Gibson, in a beautifully faded Cherry Sunburst finish. On many J-45s built between 1964 and 1966, due to the natural instability of the red color used in this finish, this had a tendency to fade, giving a very unique pattern to the sunburst finish. Spruce top, mahogany back and sides, the top varnish has very nicely aged. Great tonal balance and strong projection coupled with a low string action make this guitar a joy to play, on top of being a sight to behold!

Complete professional setup done in our workshop, ready to play. Headstock repair done a long time ago. Comes in its original hardshell case.
