GIBSON L-5 WES MONTGOMERY 1997

Beau modèle Gibson L-5 signature Wes Montgomery de 1997.

Très bel état, table massive en épicéa, fond et éclisses faits dans un bel érable ondé. L’instrument comprend un seul micro humbucker sous le manche, configuration identique à celle de certaines des L-5 jouées par Wes Montgomery. En résulte un son rond et poli, parfaitement adapté au répertoire du jazzman et de ses semblables.

La plaque d’origine en acétate s’étant désagrégée, une plaque a été réalisée en copie de l’original et montée sur l’instrument.

La guitare a été vérifiée, réglée et préparée par nos soins, en parfait état de jeu. Dans son étui Gibson d’origine.

A beautiful 1997 Gibson L-5 Wes Montgomery signature model.

In very good overall condition, solid spruce top, back and sides made of beautiful flamed maple. The instrument features a single humbucking pickup in the neck position, the same configuration as some of the L-5s played by Wes Montgomery. This gives a round and polished sound, perfectly suited to the repertoire of Wes and his ilk.

Due to the original pickguard having disintegrated, a new pickguard was made in copy of the original and mounted on the instrument.

Complete professional setup done in our workshop, in perfect playing condition. Comes in its original Gibson hardshell case.
