Since 1968, and initially in Toronto, Canada, Larrivée guitars have earned a reputation as high-grade instruments largely inspired by Martin models. The brand founded by Jean Larrivée is undoubtedly the first to offer custom models based on archetypes from Martin or Gibson.

If the electric models only met with relative success during the 1980s, it is clear that their production was of high quality.

Larrivée remains today a renowned brand that responds with much dedication and seriousness to the demands of musicians.
