Martin D-28 from 1984, in excellent original and playing condition.

The essential Dreadnought, all that is most venerable and classic. We find the traditional characteristics of this model, notably the back and sides made from Indian rosewood, a Sitka spruce top, a black and white six-ply binding around the edge of the top, a rosette decorated with alternated black and white binding, and a central inlaid strip covering the bottom joint. The head features Indian rosewood veneer and Martin-brand closed chrome tuners. The mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard, and offers a slightly V-shaped profile that is perfectly fitted and comfortable for all hand sizes. Ebony belly bridge.

For the 40th birthday of this dreadnought, we treated it to a well-deserved neck-reset, followed by a refret and complete adjustment of its nuts and set-up elements to restore a perfectly low action, playability and intonation.

Sold in its original Martin hardshell case.
