Bourgeois Vintage D Adirondack Top from 2002, in excellent original condition.

Since the late 1970s, Dana Bourgeois has been one of the main American luthiers producing high-end guitars faithful to the founding Martin instruments, notably the dreadnought and OM models. Over the years and through close collaboration with bluegrass virtuoso Tony Rice, Bourgeois and his team have developed guitars that are as close as can be, both aesthetically and sonically, to the originals. We thus find on this model all the visual markers of a D-28 from the golden age: an Adirondack spruce table, the herringbone pattern around the edge of the table, a zig-zag pattern adorning the back joint. .. modern era oblige, the back and the sides are not in Brazilian rosewood but made of a superb Indian rosewood in shades of black and brown which could be reminiscent of its South-American cousin. As for the sound, we find in the first notes all the depth and power for which dreadnought models are known, the instrument is superbly balanced right down to the treble.

Set up and adjusted in our workshop, in perfect playing condition.

Sold in its original case.
