1951 Gibson L-50, in very good condition.
A nice archtop model made from 1932 in Kalamazoo MI, the L-50 could be the acoustic twin of the ES-150 with its very similar esthetic and proportions (the body width is a mere quarter inch under that of the ES-150). Without an ounce of hesitation though this is an acoustic guitar in the very literal sense of the term – its spruce top and maple back are both arched, giving it a big, boomy sound.
This example is in superbe original condition, aside from a few old repairs made on the top. A rare occurence, the tuners, pickguard, trapeze tailpiece and Brazilian rosewood bridge are all present. On request, we may offer different means to amplify this lovely guitar.
Complete professional setup done in our workshop. Comes in a modern hardshell case.
